Unsealing test of jelly container lid

45 degree Peel

This test examines the openability of the heat-sealed jelly cup lid by pulling the lid of the jelly cup container at 45 degrees (an angle close to the state where the container is actually opened). In addition to dessert cups such as jelly and yogurt, it can also be used for noodle cup lids and similar. It can be used for evaluation in R&D and quality control to achieve ideal packaging that can be opened without stress while safely protecting the contents.

Cautions

ZTS series is recommended for this test. Standard small hook (A-1/S-1/SR-1) is required for this test.
This testing kit does not cater for full opening test. MX2 series test stands are recommended with appropriate moving speed for 45-degree angle peel test.
This video shows the testing image of objective sample. Some samples may not be suitable to measure with this configuration depending on their materials or shapes.
