In this video, the squeeze-force (push-in force required to fall one drop from bottles) of ophthalmic bottles is measured. A customized jig is used to apply forces to a steady position of the bottle, enabling highly repeatable measurement. With a scale, the squeeze force and the amount of dripping are able to be simultaneously measured.
