Calibration ISO/IEC 17025

What is Calibration?

Calibration is a process to verify whether a force gauge maintains good accuracy or not. Just same as a fine watch, a force gauge is supposed to be calibrated periodically by using calibration equipment compliant with national standards.
IMADA can provide the calibration accredited to “ISO/IEC 17025:2017”, an International Standard for Testing and Calibration Laboratories.

IMADA's Calibration

We have a fully equipped environment-controlled calibration center. Its independent floor minimizes the influences of vibration and the strict control of temperature/humidity realizes stable environment. Only the person who passed IMADA and ISO calibration examination can perform calibration.
All IMADA’s force gauges are calibrated (pre-shipment inspection) before delivery.

  • Inspection certificate (supplied in force gauges and testers for free) *
  • Calibration certificate (fee-based)
  • Traceability chart (fee-based)

*It is not supplied in some products such as load cells. Please check the specification of each product to confirm.

We have been accredited to “ISO/IEC17025:2017”, an international Laboratories by an accreditation body, PJLA. Please make use of our ISO17025 calibration service to get more internationally reliable data.

What is ISO/IEC17025:2017?

ISO/IEC 17025:2017 is a global standard for testing/calibration laboratories. It includes management requirements and technical requirements, ensuring that accredited laboratories are competent to carry out specific testing/calibration tasks.
There is a move internationally to accept foreign testing/calibration data in recent years.
PJLA, our accreditation organization, is a MRA signatory of APAC (Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation), and ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation) as well as a member of NACLA (National Cooperation for Laboratory Accreditation).
In other words, testing/calibration data produced by the laboratories accredited by PJLA can be accepted in signatory countries as well.
Therefore we have obtained accreditation to ISO/IEC17025:2017 to be competence of providing internationally acceptable calibration data.
