This is a dedicated stand to measure the crimp strength of crimped terminals and is used in combination with a force gauge. The lever type provides high measurement efficiency and lower cost compared to auto harness testers. Measurable up to 500N.

It might NOT be able to grip hard&slippery or soft&thin cables.
You have to hook a crimped terminal to the supplied clamp jig as a preperation for the test, therefore, a narrow crimped terminal might not be hooked/tested appropriately.
A mechanical force gauge might NOT be able to determine the peak value accurately when the impact of breaking is large.
