This customized attachment is designed for tension test of short or fragile samples which are hard to grip by chuck. Tension strength is measured by pulling the separated left and right plates, where both ends of the sample are fixed by adhesive. It is also suitable for a thin rod-shaped sample, by using the groove in the center of the plates.

- Customized attachment for tension test of hard-to-grip samples such as short or fragile samples
- Measures tension strength by pulling the separated left and right plates, where both ends of the sample are fixed by adhesive
- Easy to align the left and right plate's position with its rods and holes
- Suitable for a thin rod-shaped sample such as a piece of mechanical pencil lead by using the groove in the center of the plates
- Allows the repeated use, as the adhesive can be removed from the stainless plates with a solvent
